Finely cast brass vida poche, depicting a bearded gentlman wearing spectacles, with wavy hair raising to horn like points, and a beaked nose, reperesting a face of a Devil, German,foundry marks to base include an obelisk between the letters M E, Mustershutz, shaoe number 3754, rubbed signature H Kurek, possibly Johann Heinrich Kurek (1821-89) who designed at the Madgesprunger Foundry, late 19th century
