This view shows the north flank of the cathedral and the north tribune with a reconstruction of the program of buttress statues. It also depicts the Procession of Corpus Domini on June 23, 1754. During this procession the relics of St John the Baptist were carried from the Cathedral to the Baptistery and then returned to the Cathedral. The vantage point in this view is imaginary, for from no spot in the piazza can the Cathedral be seen in its entirety.
